We clean stinky-poos (eeyuck), we cuddle 'em tykes even though they're slimy with goo, plus we feed 'em whenever they're yelling their throats out. Milk is free of charge! (d'uh, susu badan la uolls, bagus untuk build-up imunisasi =D)
Warning : We are not liable for any pictures or actions of 'child-exploitation' which may occur while the child is under our care. Enquire at your own risk >)
A baby 'happy' under our care =D.
(Tak rasa yakin ke nak hantar anak kome dekat kami? >D)
When you compare both situations together, you would get the impression that raya-ing at home/kay-ell is way better but i beg to differ. Neither one is better than the other. Both has it good and bad points. In a way I do think I prefer going back to Kuala Kangsar @ Rembau but as the circumstances doesn't really permit, nothing else to do but to make the best out of it no? =3(Tak rasa yakin ke nak hantar anak kome dekat kami? >D)
Hahahahahahahhahahahahaha kasihan Alwi. The stuff he has to go through whenever Mummy leaves him under our care while she goes out for chores. But all is well, there is a saying, "What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger!". Eh, what am I saying? I mean, his aunties treat him with all the care and love in the world. Mana pernah lambung-lambung gomol-gomol! Pinkie promise XD

Now, let's move on to the most common topic this month; Raya celebrations!
Yeayea, i can imagine whats going through everyone's minds; Pusing kanan raya, pusing kiri raya. Ape lagi borak pasal raya!?!? Lame! Boring! Move on!
Well my dears, the only thing i can reply to that would be; DAH NAMA PUN RAYA MENGONG. Deal with it! Don't be a scrooge and spoil the mood for everyone else. If you can't stand it, then stay at home for the whole ramadhan month. No one's forcing you to join the fun =\
Hmm. I just noticed that in every post I will have one segment where I will rant at the general public. Anger management problem perhaps? hmhm..hahahaha-erk =X
ANYWAYS, moving with the raya issue.
This is the debut year where the Ruslan family celebrates raya in Kay-ell (Kuala Lumpur for those who don't speak the lingo). I must say, the experience is indeed extremely different this time around. True we don't get to experience the authentic raya experience such as ;
1) Gaduh-for-the-bathroom in the morning with all your cousins and uncles and aunties
2) Argueing with smaller cousins for who gets to sit at the 'adult table' during mealtimes
3) Argueing with smaller cousins as who gets to choose which channel tv to watch during "family time"
4) Argueing with smaller cousins as to whose duit raya was it that was left on the tv in the living room.
5) Argueing with smaller cousi--(ehh banyaknya gaduh dengan cousin, woops kantoi! XD)
) sneaking off whenever guests come to visit as we gals malas nak bancuh teh-o (seriously people, tau la baru habis puasa sebulan. But dang, you all drink like camels @@)
6) And numerous other things! Senang cerita, whatever it is that you can think of COULD happen whenever a big number of people congregate in one place, WILL happen. The best thing we can do is sit back and hope everyone survives the ordeal.
I'm painting the experience as if its a harrowing event, however it is not so. Yea, its annoying when your 5 year-old cousin with kyooter hair gets to cut in line to the bathroom just because she needs to do her lady business but oh well, its a once a year event. The rest of the year seniority rules supreme missy! So move aside! *shoves* Mwahahahahaha >)
Uhhum *calms self*
Meanwhile, raya-ing in town is a different thing altogether. No more argueing whose turn is it to go to the bathroom as everyone can do their business in the comforts of their own home (Yeayy to indoor pumbing!) and no more being sent out to some makcik's house to borrow/buy some random kitchen ingredient as the on-slaught of guests have finished up all the stock. And to top it all off, at the end of the day, no more having to force yourself to sleep while being lullaby-ed by daddy dearest's and Pak Chu's synchronized snoring. I swear, at the rate and volume they were going at it, you would think that they were trying to out-snore the other o_O"

Overall, Raya '09 will be remembered as the year where the we didn't go to raya, but raya came to US >D
(oh-so-lame-jingle but I MADE IT SO TERIMA SEADANYA >E)
In the meantime, here's some images as to how raya '09 was all about.
Kek Lapis Sarawak dekat rumah parents Amir (Sis's hubby)
Lawa kan! Rasa macam nak cungkil-cungkil hancurkan je! (er yes, I have a 'thing' in regards to patterns and coraks. I have an urge to destroy it ^^;)

Rumah Kampung di Rembau. I still remember the days when we used to play hide-n-seek with our cousins around the house..*sniffs* T--T
Last but not least, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri from all of us. May all of you enjoy the festivities!
Maaf Zahir dan Batin =)

Oh dear, did i say that was the end of this post?
Sorry, I LIED >) *cackles*
Kepada semua rakan-rakan saya samada di Selangor mahupun di Perlis (senang cerita anybody who knows me). I berhajat nak berkunjung ke rumah korang dan beraya. I really feel the whole visiting each other's house during raya tradition is going to die out if we young'uns don't take an active role to ensure its preservation (chewah alasan, padahal nak makan free)
MAKA, bukalah pintu rumah anda dan bersedialah untuk ketibaan saya!
Till then, cheerio~!
P.S. : Kenapa tahun ni kurang dapat duit raya? T--T sedeyh tau.
